Fire destroys unoccupied residence at Iron Mountain Lake

Several departments respond to a structure fire at Iron Mountain Lake. No one was injured in the blaze.

An unoccupied residential structure was severely damaged by fire approximately 5:15 p.m. Friday on Nevada Drive in Iron Mountain Lake.

No one was injured in the fire. Officials on the scene could not determine the cause of the blaze. The State Fire Marshal is investigating.

Bismarck Engine 3161 was the first truck on the scene. They were assisted by Pilot Knob Fire Protection District, Doe Run Fire Protection District, the Farmington Fire Department, Leadwood Fire Department.

Park Hills Fire Department was put on standby while the other departments responded to the incident.
