The Leadington Board of Aldermen and the Park Hills City Council will hold their regular monthly meetings tonight.

The Leadington Board of Aldermen will discuss filling a vacancy left by the resignation of Alderman Brad Luckey when it meets in regular session at 6 p.m. tonight in the municipal building, located at 12 Weir St.

Luckey was elected to his first two-year term in April. He and his family recently moved to a new home in Farmington, making him ineligible to serve on the board.

In old business, the board will discuss the selling of a city-owned dump truck.

Under new business, the aldermen will consider approval of several requests that includes installation of a new sign by Leadington Baptist Church, as well as a zoning change and possible fire department equipment purchases.

Members will also choose a new designated signee for city Certificates of Deposit (CDs), the placing of an election notice in the newspaper, selling inherited property on Henderson Street in Park Hills, ODACs random drug testing program, Christmas cards, TIF expenses submitted by Gilmore Bell, and the city’s liability and property insurance through MOPERM.

Two ordinances, one amending a zoning district and the other relocation of tax dollars for TIF, will also be discussed and voted on.

The meeting is open to the public.
