PEVELY – Bernice M. Cash, 101, of Barnhart, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017, at the Villas Residential Care in DeSoto, Missouri. She was born September 7, 1916, in DeSoto, the daughter of the late Iva (nee Henroid) and Taylor Hutchings.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband George F. Cash; and brothers William Jewel Hutchings, and Carl Emmett Hutchings.
She is survived by her daughter Frankie Jean (Warren J.) Zimpfer of Pevely, Missouri; grandchildren Timothy (Ann) Zimpfer of St. Louis, Missouri, and Kim (fiance Ron Weldon) Kaltenbronn of Imperial, Missouri; great-grandchildren Erin Michelle Kaltenbronn, SSGT. Scott Daniel (Amy) Kaltenbronn, USAF, Ryan Timothy Zimpfer, and Travis Garrett Zimpfer; great-great-granddaughters Skylar Elizabeth Kaltenbronn, and due in March, Rylie Rae Kaltenbronn; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.
She was a retired assembler having worked in the Brown Shoe and Swing-A-Way Can Opener Factories in St. Louis, and a life member of VFW #6883 Auxiliary.
Visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 12 Noon Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home in Pevely, officiated by Rev. Greg McCord of Farmington, Missouri. Interment in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart, Missouri. Memorials in her memory are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association or Sunny Hill Inc., 11140 South Towne Square, #100, St. Louis, Missouri 63123.
