One injured in crash

The weekend was a busy one for first responders as several accidents across the Parkland were reported.

A Farmington man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident on Route D early Saturday morning, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Preston Owens, 21, of Farmington was driving south on Route D north of London Road at 3:42 a.m. when his 1999 Chevrolet S10 exited the left side of the roadway, struck a tree and overturned. Owens sustained serious injuries in the accident and was transported via ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center. His vehicle’s damage was listed as total. He was cited for DWI. 

A Lebanon woman received moderate injuries when the side-by-side she was driving overturned Saturday afternoon.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Amanda Hough, 30, of Lebanon was driving a 2008 Yamaha Wolverine side-by-side uphill at the St. Joe State Park off-road area when the vehicle overturned and ejected her. Hough sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Parkland Health Center by ambulance.

A Caledonia man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Highway 21 in Washington County Saturday morning. 

According to the patrol report, Thomas Tinsley, 57, was operating a 2005 Harley Davidson northbound on Highway 21 near Route M when he struck a deer. The motorcycle went off the right side of the road, ejecting Tinsley. He was taken to St. Anthony's Medical Center for treatment. 

A Fredericktown teen and an Annapolis woman were injured in a crash in Madison County Saturday night. 

According to the patrol report, Hallie Singer, 16, of Fredericktown, was driving a 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlas on Route Z east of Fredericktown when the vehicle hydroplaned, crossed the centerline and struck a vehicle driven by Ashley Koenig, 21, of Annapolis.

Singer was transported to St. Anthony's Medical Center while Koenig was transported to Madison Medical Center. 

A Ste. Genevieve woman received minor injuries in an accident on Pendleton Road Saturday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol report states that Tommi Mangnall, 18, of Wapapello was driving north on Pendleton road less than half a mile south of Hildebrecht Road when her 2014 Chevrolet 1500 crossed the centerline and struck a vehicle in the southbound lane around 2:50 p.m.

The second vehicle, a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, was driven by Sharon Clark, 58, of Ste. Genevieve. Clark sustained minor injuries in the accident and was transported to Parkland Health Center by ambulance; no injuries are listed for Mangnall. The report states that Clark was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident, but Mangnall was.
