UPDATE: Confirmed second drowning at The Offsets in two weeks

In this file photo, divers recover the body of a swimmer at the Offsets in Madison County. A judge has ordered an injunction that closes The Offsets to the public until certain conditions are met by the owners of the property. 

NEW INFO [6 P.M.]: A body has been pulled from The Offsets, a popular swimming location in Madison County.

This marks the second drowning at the privately-owned swimming area in less than two weeks.

Preliminary reports said a 21-year-old male had gone missing in the water of the former mining pit. No confirmation of the age or name of the victim is available at this time. 

We'll update information as new details become available.

ORIGINAL STORY [4:30 P.M.]:First responders have once again been called to a possible drowning at The Offsets in Madison County.

Madison County Sheriff Katy McCutcheon said the call came in at about 4 p.m. 

Crews are on the scene and the Cherokee Pass Fire Department are using their boat to search the area. 

A dive team from Cape Girardeau was enroute as of 5:20 p.m.
