A two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon at U.S. 67 and Doubet Road sent one man to the hospital, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The report states that Bruce Ritch, 31, of Farmington, was traveling east on Doubet Road when he attempted to cross U.S. 67 in his 2002 Chevrolet Impala. He then collided with a 2012 Ford Edge driven by Emilie Uptegrove, 26, of Farmington, causing her to strike a pedestrian on a bicycle.
The pedestrian was flown to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries. The identity of the male pedestrian is unknown.
Both vehicles involved were totaled.
The northbound lane of the highway was briefly closed while Air Evac was on the scene.
