Woman hurt when car hits overpass

A driver received moderate injuries when her southbound car hit the guardrail and overpass at U.S. 67 and Parkway Drive shortly after noon on Saturday.

A Caledonia woman received moderate injuries in a one-car accident at 12:30 p.m. Saturday on southbound U.S. 67 at Parkway Drive in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a southbound 2011 Ford Fiesta driven by Lisa M. Isgrig, 32, of Caledonia, traveled off the roadway and struck a guardrail and the Parkland Drive overpass.

Isgrig, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, was transported to St. Anthony's Medical Center by the St. Francois County Ambulance District where she was treated for moderate injuries.

Traffic was delayed on U.S. 67 for around an hour while the crash scene was cleared.
