The 20th annual Washington County Community Health Fair will be held Sept. 13 from 7:30 a.m. until oon at the Potosi High School in the gym and round room.

The health fair will provide activities for participants of all ages.

This includes free laboratory testing, children’s play area, information booths, entertainment and more.

A program honoring school nurses, past and present, will take place at 9 a.m.

The lab testing will include blood sugar, triglycerides and cholesterol, blood pressure, and amblyopia screening.

Those participating can attend educational presentations and visit the Air Evac Helicopter Ambulance Landing.

Many giveaways will be available at the booths and a variety of games will take place throughout the day: YMCA Animals Exhibit, face painting, DJ music, bounce house, and more.

The event is organized by the Washington County Health Department, Washington County Community Partnership, Family Support Division, University Extension Center, and Washington County Hospital.

All expenses are paid through donations and booth rentals. Booths are still available and may be reserved by contacting Maudie Kelly at 573-438-2671.
