PADUCAH, Ky. – Dmonta Harris tripled his season total for 3-pointers by drilling six, and powered the Mineral Area men’s basketball team to a 103-62 rout of West Kentucky Tech on Wednesday.
The freshman forward scored 35 points to easily shatter his previous season high for the Cardinals (20-6), who gradually stretched a 41-26 halftime lead.
Lance Singh contributed 20 points to the win, and threw down a massive tomahawk slam over a defender after elevating near the middle of the lane during the second half.
Zach Cameron provided 12 points as Mineral Area achieved its fourth consecutive 20-win season. Roman Young, Jamie Ahale and Maurice Edwards chipped in nine points each.
Shavell Glover netted 18 points and Devin Hart posted 17 for West Kentucky Tech, which fell to the Cardinals 94-60 earlier this season in Park Hills.
