Valley Scoring Leader Black Moving On

Valley High School senior Lexie Black signed a National Letter of Intent on Friday to play basketball and pursue a career in Accounting at Blackburn College, an NCAA Division III program located in Carlinville, Ill. Black has secured multiple all-conference and all-district honors, and finished as the career scoring leader at Valley with 1,714 points while helping to lead a program resurgence with three consecutive winning seasons. Also seated from left to right are her stepfather Jason Brown, mother Chrissy Brown and father Bobby Black.
