West County High School senior Ivy Meinershagen signed a National Letter of Intent on Monday to play softball and continue her education at Mineral Area College. Meinershagen helped the Lady Bulldogs win three MAAA spring season and three district titles as a pitcher and infielder, and earned Second Team all-state honors after they reached the final four in 2016. She was also a four-year varsity starter for a WCHS basketball team that won a conference title last February, and played the back row during consecutive 18-win volleyball seasons. Also seated, from left, are her parents Shawn and Jamie Meinershagen, and West County head softball coach C.J. Wright. Standing are West County athletic director John Simily (left) and Mineral Area head softball coach Dave Guemmer.
