Tommy Hahn and Clayton Snudden notched RBI singles, and leadoff man Nick Carter finished 2-for-3 as De Soto survived a final threat in the seventh.

Ste. Genevieve (14-11) drew closer when Chad Donze singled and scored on a RBI double by Brady Boyer in the sixth inning, but a line out to left field kept the margin at 2-1.
Canada navigated two runners during his opening frame, and proceeded to retire 10 consecutive batters while issuing two walks in the contest.
Chase Koller likewise delivered a complete game for Post 150, allowing eight hits and two walks while striking out seven in defeat.
Andrew Downs greeted him with a triple as the second batter of the game, and Hahn followed with a RBI single. Snudden singled home Nick Carter to extend the lead in the third.
Hayden Voyles matched Carter by going 2-for-3 overall, and Downs had two hits for De Soto, which won despite stranding 10.
Ste. Genevieve squandered leadoff singles by Derek Morganthaler in the first inning and Drew Toombs in the fifth.
