ORIGINAL: Area agencies have responded to the report of a body found in Flat River in the area of Rebel Drive in Park Hills.

At about 7:05 p.m. a body was removed from the river. Several officials are on the scene including the county coroner.

On Monday, police officers, firefighters, and a cadaver dog brought in from St. Louis searched the area for 39-year-old Christopher Burtchett who has been missing since March 17. They reportedly searched between Elvins Park and Main Street and over to Highway 32 but nothing was found.

Burtchett was last seen in Elvins Park. Witnesses reported that Burtchett was last seen wearing only gray shorts and was reported to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Witnesses said he walked off along the railroad tracks that lead toward downtown near the stream.
