Run/Walk with Walker returns for eighth annual event

Run/Walk with Walker 5K and Hero Dash takes place on April 21 at Farmington High School.

Registration begins at 8 a.m., with the event starting at 9 a.m. The cost is $10 for the Hero Dash for children ages 10 and up. The 5K Run/Walk is $15 for students or $30 for adults.

This is the eighth annual event, which honors and remembers loved ones affected by cancer. Each participant receives a goodie bag. Bicycles, wagons and strollers are permitted for the event.

There is also a silent auction scheduled for the event.
