Connie Weekley, beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, niece, and friend, died January 2, 2025, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and joy. Born August 21, 1975, Connie was the daughter of James (Jim) Weekley and Brenda (Hochstetter) Weekley.
Connie was a force of nature, known for her zest for life, her generous spirit, and her infectious sense of humor. Whether she was lending a helping hand, cracking a joke, or singing along to 80s hits, Connie’s presence always brought light to those around her. Her smile was a signature that could brighten the darkest of days, and her laughter was a gift that lingered long after she had left the room.
A skilled braider and an expert at painting kitchen cabinets, Connie was always ready to lend a hand, making even the simplest tasks a memorable experience. She was the type of person you could count on to show up with a smile, ready to make any task feel like a good time.
Family was at the heart of Connie’s world. Whether it was with her brother Ricky, her sister Jamie, or any of her cousins, Connie was always creating memories and sharing her love. It was said that Maria was never going to learn to walk if Connie didn’t put her down. Connie adored her daughter, Marlayna, and cherished every moment spent with her nieces, great nieces, and nephews. She was also known for enjoying quiet moments on the porch with Aunt Wilma, a tradition that was close to her heart.
Even in the most difficult times, Connie was a pillar of strength for those around her. Whether offering advice, a listening ear, or simply her presence, Connie made an indelible impact on the lives of everyone she met. Her ability to touch hearts, whether intentionally or not, is a testament to the kindness and love she shared so freely.
Connie will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her warmth, humor, and love will forever be a guiding light for those she left behind.
