Members and guests gathered at the home of Cathy Melby on Saturday, April 26, 2025, for our Annual Fish Fry. In spite of a somewhat chilly evening the food was excellent. Michael Brown, Gregg Pruett and Jerry Davis fried the fish and hushpuppies and did a wonderful job. After dinner members and guests took part in an auction. Everyone brought a gift that started with the first initial of their last name. We were pleased that we raised over $700 to pay December utilities for senior citizens of Madison County.
Anna Brown hosted our April 3, 2025, meeting. In the absence of our President Kathy Kelley, Linda Aumann presided over the meeting. April Social plans were finalized. Following our meeting, Anna gave us a tour of her new home. It is a craftsman style home, and the Browns have made a lot of improvements and shared their plans for future improvements.
On April 17, 2025, Shirley Baxter hosted the meeting at her home. Thank you cards from seniors that had received help with December utilities were shared. Plans for the April Social and auction were completed. Shirley gave a presentation on May Day Trivia.
