Three accidents result in serious injuries

A 41-year-old Farmington male was seriously injured on August 3 in a one-vehicle motorcycle accident, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The MSHP report states that at 5:05 p.m., Sunday, on Route T, west of Route CC, in Perry County, a 2011 Harley Davidson traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a sign and a rock, and overturning. The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported by personal conveyance to Parkland Health Center. It was unknown if he was wearing a safety device.
The motorcycle, a 2011 Harley Davidson XL 1200, was listed as totaled and towed from the scene by Perry County Towing.
A head-on collision in Perry County resulted in serious injuries to both drivers on August 1st, at 5:45 p.m.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2018 Hyundai Sonata, driven by a 36-year-old male, not wearing a safety device, from Perryville, crossed the center of the roadway of Route T east of Route N and struck the front of a 2009 Pontiac G6 driven by a 26-year-old Farmington male who was wearing a safety device.
The drivers were both seriously injured. The Farmington driver was taken to St. Louis University Hospital by Air Evac, and the 36-year-old driver from Perryville was taken to Mercy South Hospital by Air Evac. Both vehicles were listed as totaled and were towed from the scene by Perry County Towing.
A one-vehicle accident in St. Francois County resulted in serious injuries to the driver Friday, August 1.
As reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 20-year-old male from Bismarck was on King School Rd., east of Brown Mountain Rd., at 6:55 p.m., when the 2018 Kia Optima he was driving traveled off the right side of the roadway, striking a mailbox, several trees, and then overturned.
The driver, who was not wearing a safety device, suffered serious injuries and was taken by Arch helicopter to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. The vehicle was listed as totaled and was towed from the scene by Buckley Towing.
