Yard sales benefit homeless

The Shared Blessings group will have twin yard sales in Bonne Terre and Park Hills to raise money to help the homeless. The group has been exploring options to build a shelter.

The yard sales begin at 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The Bonne Terre sale is in Bonneville Plaza east of US 67 off Highway 47. The Park Hills sale is at River Place A by the Farmer’s Market on Main and Crane streets. Donations welcome, but they should be high-quality and have price tags already on them.

The group also plans a bake sale June 16 at Desloge Wal-Mart and is seeking donation of large furniture items for an upcoming auction.
